Tottenham and England winger Andros Townsend is being linked with a moves to both Aston Villa and Swansea this summer by the Daily Mirror.
The winger has been touted as a target for Villa for a long time, but Swansea are now believed to have entered the race to sign Townsend this summer.
Both Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood and Swansea boss Garry Monk are admirers of the 23-year-old and could do battle over the winger this summer.
Sherwood worked with Townsend during his time at Tottenham and Monk is looking to build on last season’s eighth place finish in the Premier League by strengthening his squad.
Townsend has enjoyed an inconsistent career so far for both Spurs and England. He has shown flashes of his ability for club and country, but at times he has disappeared from games completely.
His inconsistent form has led to Townsend finding it hard to gain a regular starting place for Tottenham, although he seems to have maintained his place in the England squad despite his inconsistent form.
England boss Roy Hodgson must also be a big fan of the winger, as he has featured in the Three Lions last two games.
Townsend does have the talent and potential to become a very good player, so Spurs may not want to part with the £12millon rated just yet.
However with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino looking to overhaul his squad this summer the winger may leave north London.
Where will Andros Townsend be plying his trade next season?
