Former-Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes is the favourite to replace Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Scot is currently boss of La Liga side Real Sociedad, who have made a poor start to their league campaign this season.
The team from San Sebastian have won just one of their games in the Spanish top-flight this season, but Moyes is still highly-regarded in Premier League coaching circles.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood is now under-immense pressure, as the Villans have suffered six defeats in their last seven Premier League games. The poor run of results has Villa in the relegation zone and questions marks over Sherwood’s future at the Midlands club.
It is even being reported that Villa may sack the former-Spurs boss if his team loses the next two games, which are away at reigning champions Chelsea and at home against Swansea next weekend.
Moyes was enjoying his time in Spain in his first campaign, but it seems he might now be ready to return to the hustle and bustle of the English top-flight. It seems the clock is ticking on Tim Sherwood’s stay in the Midlands.
