Former-Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has been made the red hot favourite to be the next Liverpool boss, after Brendan Rodgers was sacked following the Reds 1-1 draw with Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.
Rodgers had been under severe for the past few weeks, as the Reds have won just one of their last nine games in all competitions. The Reds hierarchy have already revealed that they have begun the search for the Northern Irishman’s replacement.
Klopp and Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti have been installed by the bookies as favourites to be the next Reds. However, it seems that the highly-rated German boss is the most likely to be appointed as the next Anfield boss.
Klopp quit his role as Dortmund boss in the summer, after BVB finished seventh in the Bundesliga last season. For much of the campaign Dortmund struggled in the German top-flight, and was even seen as relegation candidates at one point.
Despite BVB’s struggles Klopp has retained his reputation as one of the best tacticians in the European game. The charismatic German boss has previously expressed his desire to work in the Premier League and could soon be getting his wish.
