Marseille and Ghana forward Andre Ayew has hinted that it would be an honour for him to play in the Premier League.
The highly-rated Ghana international has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Swansea, West Ham, Arsenal and Everton.
The 25-year-old will become a free agent this summer, as his contract with French giants Marseille expires. Ayew will be one of the most in-demand free agents this summer, after impressing for both Marseille and his national side in recent seasons.
Talking to Sky Sports about his future he said: “I have had a lot of different offers from different countries, but I will have to discuss with Marseille,”
“I will make a decision soon, and look at the offers that are coming in and decide what is best for my future. The Premier League is the best league in the world today, and it would be an honour play there”.
It seems that the versatile forward will have a wealth of options this summer and could end up in the Premier League.
Swansea are already believed to have offered the Ghana international a lucrative contract for next season, but the Swans could have stiff competition for the in-demand forward.
Andre Ayew would be a shrewd signing for any Premier League team, especially on a free transfer. He has pace and good skill and his ability to play in a variety of different positions is also a big asset to most top-flight English teams.
