Paul Pogba is thinking only about doing well at Juventus.
He reaffirmed that in an interview he granted to Telefoot.
Pogba said: “Why did I stay? For what reason should I have left? It wasn’t sure that I would leave, I could have well stayed as in fact has happened. I am still at Juventus and I am very happy to be here. We didn’t start well, now I only have to focus on Juventus and to do well, then we’ll see what happens. Barcelona? I don’t know. We’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”
A lot of transfer rumours were linking Paul Pogba with a move away from Juventus in the last transfer window.
At first it seemed that Barcelona were close to securing his services but towards the end of the transfer window Chelsea intensified their interest in the France international, and that resulted in official bids that were rejected by Juventus.
That said, it has to be mentioned that Pogba always stated that he’s happy at Juventus. He also confirmed that by requesting the number 10 shirt that was worn by various Juventus legends such as Alessandro Del Piero.
This season will be pivotal in Pogba’s career as he has the opportunity to shine as a star player as various key player, such as Pirlo and Vidal, have left the club.
