The game proved that the German boss still has a big challenge on his hands to revive the fortunes of the under-achieving Merseyside giants.<\/p>\n<p>When he arrived he expressed his happiness at the strength of his squad, but there is no doubt his current squad are not quite good enough to take the Reds where they want to be in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>One player who is thriving under Klopp is Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho, who scored the equaliser for the Reds in yesterday\u2019s draw, and also netted in the previous game in a 3-1 win at Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>Coutinho is an undoubtable talent, but can be frustrating in the fact that he struggles for consistency.<\/p>\n<p>The defeat against Palace showed that Klopp has much work to do on Merseyside to resurrect the Reds.
