According to Sky Sports Manchester City and England midfielder James Milner has held talks with both Arsenal and Liverpool about a summer move.
The experienced midfielder will be available on a free transfer with his contract at City set to expire.
Milner looks set to make a decision after England’s upcoming games against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia, but looks unlikely to stay with the Citizens.
The 29-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances last season, but started just 18 of those games in the top-flight.
Despite his limited starts in the top-flight he still managed seven assists and five goals. It seems he would be willing to stay with City this summer, but only if he was given more starts.
If he wants regular first team football then a move to Arsenal may not be the wisest of moves, as the Gunners have a plethora of midfield options, with big players already being left out of their starting line-up.
