The big game in the Premier League this weekend comes at Stamford Bridge, as struggling champions Chelsea host London rivals Arsenal.
The two endured mixed fortunes in their midweek Champions League encounters, as Chelsea hammered Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0, while the Gunners suffered a 2-1 defeat against Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb with French striker Olivier Giroud being dismissed.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho rung the changes to his starting line-up for the Maccabi game, with first team regulars John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa all dropped from the starting line-up. Matic, Terry and Costa are likely to return to the Blues starting line-up.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also rotated his squad in Zagreb and experienced a rather less positive result. The likes of David Ospina, Mathieu Debuchy, Mikel Arteta and Olivier Giroud are all likely to drop back out of the starting eleven.
Former-Chelsea ‘keeper Petr Cech will face his old team in goal, replacing Colombian international David Ospina. Francis Coquelin will return for Arteta, Hector Bellerin will come in for Debuchy and Theo Walcott is likely to start in attack for the Gunners in place of Giroud.
Prediction
Chelsea have a good home record against Arsenal in recent years, having won five out of the last six games at Stamford Bridge.
Despite their recent poor form, I expect the Blues to get back to winning ways in this clash, with a narrow victory.
FN365 Prediction: 2-1
