Community Shield 2015 Chelsea vs ArsenalCompetitive English football will be back tomorrow with Chelsea and Arsenal battling it out for the first trophy of the season, the Community Shield. The match will kick off at 14:00 GMT on Sunday 2nd August at Wembley Stadium.

The first encounter of the season presents us with the 15th encounter between Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger. Wenger never managed to win against the Portuguese counterpart.

He would relish a first victory tomorrow that would provide much needed confidence to his squad for the rest of the season.

Tomorrow’s match will be the first time Petr Cech will be facing Chelsea as an opponent following his 11 year stay with the Blues. He has already won the Community Shield twice with Chelsea but he will be very keen to add a third with Arsenal.

Tomorrow will be the second time Chelsea and Arsenal face each other for the Community Shield, with the first time taking place in 2005 when Chelsea won 2-1 thanks to two Didier Drogba goals.

Both sides may be missing some key players. Arsenal will be without their star player, Alexis Sanchez, due to an extended break he was granted following Chile’s win in the Copa America.

On the other hand Cahill and Costa are doubtful for Chelsea following the injuries they’ve picked up in the pre-season tour.

It will be a tight encounter but Chelsea are considered as favourites to build up on the successes of last season.

It was always going to be tough for Arsenal to beat Chelsea, but the absence of Sanchez will definitely make the Gunners a weaker side.

Footy News 365 Prediction: Chelsea 2 Arsenal 1
