Manchester United have launched a big money bid to sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have launched a £28.6million bid for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

It is being reported that Ramos has his heart set on leaving the Spanish capital this summer.

The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish giants and seems to have made it clear that he wants to enter into negotiations with the Red Devils.

Real had been linked with a move for United ‘keeper David de Gea, but it seems the highly-rated former Atletico Madrid star is unlikely to be involved in any big money deal for Ramos, who has two years left on his contract.

Coleman

Another defender being linked with a move to United by seemingly every publication known to man is Everton and Republic of Ireland full-back Seamus Coleman.

Reports on Sky Sports claim that the Red Devils are set to launch a £15million bid for the 26-year-old.

Coleman has been one of the most consistent right-backs in the Premier League in recent seasons and seems to be an ideal signing for United.

Louis van Gaal’s side were also looking at England full-back Nathaniel Clyne, but it seems the Southampton full-back is heading for Liverpool.

Everton are unlikely to lose their marauding full-back easily and the £15million bid is likely to be rejected. This deal could very well depend on whether the player himself pushes for the move, as he seems committed to his current employers.

Will Manchester United sign Ramos and Coleman this summer?
