Chelsea ‘keeper Petr Cech looks set to leave the Blues this summer

Czech Republic international Petr Cech has endured a frustrating campaign on the Chelsea bench after highly-rated young Belgian ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois was made the Blues number one. Cech has made just four Premier League appearances this season.

Even at 32, Cech is still considered an outstanding ‘keeper and the Blues are lucky enough to have arguably two of the best ‘keepers in the world game.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants it to stay that way as he does not want the Czech to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, it now looks inevitable the Cech will leave for pastures new this summer, with his agent Viktor Kolar confirming that Chelsea are set to allow the ‘keeper to leave in search of regular first team football.

A host of Europe’s top clubs have been linked with a move for Cech, including PSG, Real Madrid and Arsenal. Cech will certainly be in-demand this summer.

Blues boss Mourinho has already stated he does not wish Cech to stay in England, obviously responding to the speculation linking Cech with a move to London rivals Arsenal.

The big interest in Cech is not a major surprise considering so reliable he has been for Chelsea in the last decade.

In goalkeepers years 32-years-old can be regarded as youngster, as some ‘keeper’s carry on playing into their forties.

His destination this summer maybe unknown, but one thing that is for sure is that Petr Cech is too talented to be sitting on the Chelsea bench and wasting his skills.

Where will Petr Cech be plying his trade next season?
