Argentinian centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori has completed a move to Everton for £9.5million

Today is the transfer deadline day in the Premier League and there are many deals close to completion and also done deals.

One of the biggest done deals of the day so far is Everton paying Argentinian giants River Plate £9.5million for centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori.

The 24-year-old is highly-rated and helped the club win the Copa Libertadores earlier this year. Mori has won one cap for his national team.

West Ham have been very busy on deadline day. The Hammers have re-signed defensive midfielder Alex Song from Barcelona on a season-long loan deal.

Slaven Bilic’s side have also brought in winger Victor Moses from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal and Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic from Hull for a fee in the region of £3million.

Premier League new boys Bournemouth are hoping to complete the £5million signing of Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray, who is currently having a medical with the club from Dorset. Argentinian youngster Tomas Andrade is also expected to complete a season-long loan deal from River Plate.

Norwich have been looking to strengthen their forward options and the Canaries have brought in DR Congo international Dieumerci Mbokani from Dynamo Kiev on a season-long loan deal.

Mbokani will replace Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who has joined Spanish club Real Betis on another season-long loan deal.

Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have strengthened their defence with the £2.7million signing of defender Papy Djilobodji from French Ligue One side Nantes. The 26-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

Southampton are closing to strengthening their defensive options with Celtic centre-back Virgil van Dijk currently having a medical ahead of completing a £11.5million move to the south coast.

Premier League new boys Watford have allowed Mexican international defender Miguel Layun leave on a season-long loan deal to Portuguese side FC Porto.

Will there be any last-gasp big money moves on deadline day?
