West Ham boss Sam Allardyce looks set to leave the London club

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce seems like a dead man walking at the moment.

The 60-year-old was given an ultimatum by the clubs owners last summer of improve the team’s style of play or lose his job.

The experienced boss managed to get his team playing some nice football in the first half of the campaign, but in recent months there has been an alarming loss of form, with the Irons claiming just one win in their last six Premier League games.

Allardyce leaving the club now seems inevitable and the man himself seems to have already accepted the fact.

West Ham have been linked with some very ambitious replacements for Allardyce. The biggest surprise name who is being linked with the Irons is Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp, who is regarded as one of the most astute bosses in European football.

With Klopp being touted for the Real Madrid and Manchester City hot seat it seems unlikely that the German will turn up in the East End anytime soon, unless he visits London and gets lost that is!

Napoli boss Rafa Benitez is also being linked with the job, which is also quite ambitious simply because he is also being linked with the hot seat at Real Madrid. Benitez looks set to leave Naples after two years in charge of the Azzurri.

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes is also being linked with the job, but seems quite happy in the sun of San Sebastien, I mean who wouldn’t be?

That means the Hammers could be in for a long search for a new boss, that’s if of course they do dispense with the services of Allardyce this summer, which looks more and more likely by the day.

Should West Ham sack Sam Allardyce this summer?
