Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure looks set to leave the Citizens this summer

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure looks set to leave the Citizens this summer with his agent Dmitri Seluk claiming that the Ivorian international is 90% certain to leave the former Premier League champions.

The 31-year-old has struggled to rediscover his best form this season, after inspiring City to two Premier League titles in the previous three seasons. Toure had been regarded as one of the best players in the top-flight.

However, he is one of the highest-paid players in the top-flight, but is seen as a player who can only operate in a three-man midfield and a luxury player at times.

Last season Toure became only the second midfielder in the history of the Premier League to score 20 goals, with Frank Lampard the only other midfield player to have matched that tally.

Despite his performance last season, he has been considered a liability for City at times, with fans and staff doubting his commitment to the City cause. Toure is nearly 32 and is being heavily linked with moves to French big spending club PSG and Italian outfit Internazionale.

The midfielder’s wages of £200,000 per-week is unlikely to attract a plethora of clubs, but if he slightly lowers his demands he is more than likely to attract more suitors this summer.

If recent reports are to be believed Manchester City are set for a major squad overhaul this summer and Toure looks set to be a casualty of that squad overhaul.

Where will Yaya Toure be plying his trade next season?
