On-loan winger Juan Cuadrado could be set to make a permanent move to Juventus

According to reports from Italy and Tuttosport, reigning Italian champions Juventus are ready to open talks with Chelsea over a permanent move for Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado.

A deal in the region of 20million euros has been mooted.

The former-Fiorentina star is on a season-long loan deal in Turin and reportedly wants to make the move a permanent one. However it seems the Bianconeri want to tie-up a deal quickly, just incase the Blues decide to dispense with the services of under-fire boss Jose Mourinho in the near future.

Chelsea are struggling near the bottom of the Premier League table and Juve fear a change of management at Stamford Bridge could mean a change in the status of Cuadrado at the club.

Cuadrado only joined Chelsea in the January transfer window from Fiorentina in a big money move. The Colombian international struggled to break into the starting line-up on a regular basis at Chelsea and was allowed to join Juventus this summer on a temporarily basis.

Juventus have also made a poor start to their title defence in Serie A and currently sit 10th in the Italian top-flight this season.

Will Juan Cuadrado complete a permanent move to Juventus in January?
