Inter Milan vs CarpiIn an interview the former Fiorentina midfielder, Massimo Orlandi, granted to TV station Rete Sport, he states his opinion on the objectives the new Inter Milan should have.

He stated that he sees Inter Milan a step below Roma and Juventus. He also affirmed that the distance between Inter Milan and the two sides is a significant one.

Orlandi added that Inter Milan improved their squad greatly this summer, especially with the signings of players such as Jovetic, a player whose characteristics were missing in the Inter Milan squad in recent years.

Inter Milan have started the season on a positive note as they secured six points from their first two matches of the season.

That said, their performances have been far from great as they managed to win both matches in the dying moments of the match against much weaker sides in Atalanta and Carpi.

In their first match of the season, although Atalanta were a man down they only managed to score the winner in the last minute of the match thanks to a superb strike by Jovetic.

In the second match of the season, against newly promoted Carpi, Inter Milan managed to secure a 2-1 thanks to a penalty scored in the last minutes of the match.

It remains has to be seen if Inter Milan will keep on building on what they’ve already achieved.

Can the Nerrazurri compete with Juventus and Roma for the Scudetto?
