According to media reports both Manchester United winger Nani and Arsenal ‘keeper David Ospina are in talks with Fenerbahce over a move to Turkey.
Both players have reasons to leave their respective clubs this summer and it seems Turkey could be their likely destination.
Out-of-favour
Nani enjoyed a rather mercurial career at United, often brilliant, but often frustrating. He fell out-of-favour at United and was sent out on a season-long loan to former-club Sporting Lisbon last summer.
He thrived back in his homeland, making 35 appearances and scoring 12 goals in the process. Despite his relative success back in Portugal he is still unwanted at Old Trafford and is likely to move on this summer.
A fee in the region of £7million has been mooted and with three-years left on his United contract he is unlikely to be a cheap option for any prospective suitors.
However, it seems that the winger’s representatives have held positive talks with Fenerbahce and he could be off to Turkey.
Competition
Ospina is current first choice ‘keeper at Arsenal, but has recently admitted that he is in talks with Fenerbahce, due to the impending arrival of Czech ‘keeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.
The Colombian put in some solid performances in the second half of last season, but is not considered a long-term option as Arsenal number one.
Ambitious
It seems that the Turkish team have ambitious plans for next season after finishing second in the Turkish top-flight last season. Both players could be very good additions to their squad and help the team progress next season.
